Lone Star Riding Club

Ranch & Riding Camps

Lone Star Riding Club offers several types of Ranch & Riding Camps.  These camps are perfect for kids that cannot commit to weekly lessons or beginner riders that are trying to figure out if horses are their thing.

The (optional) ranch adventure track allows campers to not only learn and enjoy horses, but also explore Texas themed outdoor activites.  We feel this is the best value at Lone Star Ranch & the Riding Club. Members get a half to full day with the horses and hanging out at the.

Our campers that ride regularly ALSO LOVE attending camp because we offer a variety of riding sessions within each camp.  Therefore beginner and advance riders will enjoy the arena lesson and the trail rides.

Are masks required?

Face masks are not required. We do require each parent to complete a Proof of No Symptoms form foor their child.

Where is camp located?

Camp is located at our Driftwood location, 700 S Creekwood Dr, Driftwood, TX 78619.

We do NOT hold camp at our location on Bluff Springs rd.

How many children attend each session? What is the staff to children ratio?

Our maximum camper numbers range from 25 to 40 split into several small groups. We have multiple staff members and volunteers assigned to each group.

My child is friends with another camper. Can they be in the same group together?

Groups are assigned a few days before camp, so if you'd like to request your camper to be in a specific group, please let us know when you sign up for camp. Groups are assigned based upon age and horseback riding experience, but we will do our best to accommodate where possible.
