Amelia
Originally from Edmonds, WA, Amelia grew up showing in many all around AQHA events, including over fences classes and western pleasure, and was AQYHA World Champion in horsemanship. Amelia has her Bachelor's degree in Equine Science, and a Master's degree in Biomechanics for Animal Science. She previously coached the Sam Houston Stock Horse Team and the Colorado State University Equestrian Team. She currently holds an AQHA judging card and has taught lessons for over 10 years while still competing in NRHA shows.
Amy
Amy is a Texas native. She received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural Business from Sam Houston State University, and her Master's in Animal Science from Tarleton State University. She chose to focus her education in Equine Studies while holding memberships in collegiate Ranch Horse and Horse Judging teams. Amy's industry experience includes 15+ years of animal/equine husbandry, management, and instruction. In her spare time, Amy enjoys showing horses competitively and is currently working on attaining her horse judging cards.
Allie
Allie grew up riding in Austin and has been riding for 15 years. After trying out a wide variety of disciplines, she found that her heart lies in the hunter/jumper world. She has competed both on the local circuits and at rated shows across Texas, and loves every minute spent with the horses, whether in the saddle or teaching others to ride!
Carly
Carly specializes in hunter/jumpers with over 20 years of teaching experience. Her accomplishments include 3 NCAA National Championship Titles while riding for the University of South Carolina, where she was Captain of the winning team.
Carly also is the head trainer and owner of Gwyn Haven Equestrian, located at our Lone Star Equestrian Center location, where she manages the training and showing of sporthorses for the hunter/jumper discipline.
Jessica
Jessica is a Texas A&M graduate and Texas native. Raised in Pony Club, she is very familiar with the ins and outs of the organization and knows very well how to help students progress through the USPC levels! If you are interested in showing, Jessica also regularly takes her students to local Pony Club rallies! She has a passion for Eventing, Dressage, and Cross Country riding, and is very knowledgeable on rider safety practices. Her current loves are pasta, sports, veterinary care, and recycling!
Olivia
Horses have always been a big part of Olivia's life, and her love for the sport continues to grow. With 17 years of competition experience in Hunter/Jumper/Equitation, Barrel Racing, and Dressage, Olivia has found immense joy in passing her knowledge down to others. When it comes to riding lessons, Olivia's number one priority is the health and happiness of the horses and riders.
Rowan
Rowan has been riding for 15 years, showing on both the local and rated hunter/jumper circuits, competing in both hunter and equitation divisions. She grew up with horses, both riding herself, and working with horses professionally. She also does Equine Photography, and has travelled across the country shooting for horse events and competitions.
Sofia
Sofia has been riding almost before she could walk! Growing up, she rode Tennessee Walking Horses at her grandparents' ranch where her grandfather was a horse trainer, from whom she got an authentic education in English riding and how to teach others. She has competed successfully at local shows, and while her specialty is in English riding, she enjoys teaching all kinds of riders! She loves the people, horses, and students at Lone Star Riding Club, and loves sharing her passion for horses with her students and watching them make their first big strides in the saddle.
